Tart Crust

The recipe I always use for my tarts.

TART CRUST (For a 20cm Tart)

Ingredients

-75g room-temp. butter

-30g powdered sugar

-1 egg

-150g all-purpose flour

Instructions

1. Cream the butter with a whisk.

2. Whisk in the powdered sugar until creamy.

3. Add the egg and whisk rapidly until fully incorporated.

4. Sift in the flour and cut it in with a spatula.

5. Press the dough into your pan. Prick the bottom and the sides with a fork.

6. Refrigerate until the dough is very firm.

7. Blind bake at 180 degrees C for 20 minutes.
